  1. Hadimba Temple, Manali

This ancient shrine was built by Maharaja Bahadur Singh in 1553, which was also known as the Hidimba Devi Temple and Dhungari Temple. The temple is dedicated – as the name implies – to Bheema’s wife, Hidimba Devi. The wooden shrine architecture is very different in the country from the majority of Hindu temples. In the house is another shrine dedicated to Ghatotkacha’s son Hidimba Devi. The temple is one of Manali’s best places to visit.
